Zarah Mahmood
Zarah is a graduate who specialises in Printed Textiles. Her final collection focuses on detailed and abstract forms of Tropical Foliage, highlighting bold use of colour and dynamic compositions for a modern interior living space.
Zarah's inspiration originally derives from the tropical foliage of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, a homage to her family roots. She further explores the abstract forms within exotic florals and topical nature through her drawing, painting and CAD skills. She has created a bright colour palette and a strong sense of collection for interiors. Zarah's aims are to work in the professional textiles industry and to expand her knowledge and skills as a print designer.
