Inspired by the contrast of an urban environment in a developed country compared to antiquated structures within developing countries, 'Decorative Deconstruction' studies landmarks in England and Pakistan and combines the two to create a bold and unique design aesthetic.
An increase of deconstructed textiles has allowed designers to begin to challenge traditional ways of creating. This increase in the fashion market has driven this research. To portray this concept, the relationship between pattern, colour blocking and distorted textures are explored. The use of high-quality woven techniques allows for the three elements to work alongside each other to create irregular compositions.
