Rose Heales
Rose specialises in Multi-Media Textiles, focusing on fine detail embroidery, print, fabric manipulation, garment constructing, skills on Photoshop and Illustrator (laser) and hand work techniques.
'Beyond Visual Perception' is a womenswear fashion collection, consisting of fine detail hand embroidery and stitch work, print, and laser cutting and etch. A collection consisting of high-end leathers, PVC, velvet and denim. With a minimal yet powerful colour palette portraying the linear lines and shapes in architecture with the combination of the 'unseen' blueprints. Laser cut has been a big part of this collection from creating beads to oversized and obscure accessories, which has helped bring a unique approach to this collection. Rose has picked up pattern cutting skills from past work experience so has included garment construction within her final collection. This collection is an acclimation of skills and techniques Rose has picked up during her degree and year in industry which has helped her to produce work to a more professional level. Rose plans to go into high-end womenswear fashion design but has an open mind and is willing to try out new aspects of the industry.
