With an aspiration to work in fashion, my multi-media collections have always had consideration of composition and placement on the body. High-quality finish and precise execution are things I aim to achieve throughout my work: these are skills desired for the type of high-end work and hand-finishing I wish to pursue.
The fast-paced modern world we live in leaves little time to stop and appreciate life, relationships and moments that matter. 'Overlooked Identities' originated from this idea, focusing on means by which individuals and these relations are remembered and represented. Imagery featuring heavily throughout this project was collected from Crossbones Garden in London. A shrine created at the gates of this disused burial grounds for outcasts proved to be a creative way to honour lost lives, and led me to investigate this idea of mementos further.
