Philippa Traynor

Philippa is a print design graduate who creates screen-printed and digital textile prints. Her love of drawing and painting is evident in her work as she creates colourful and playful yet sophisticated collections utilising a mixture of detailed and abstract designs.

Current collection: 'British Bohemia' An exploration of British gardens, patterns and still life inspired by the Bloomsbury group and their home in the 20th century. This work focuses on the freedom and creativity that nature brings through painterly expressions, with a taste of Charleston House that offers thought, playfulness and a celebration of life. This collection embraces an eclectic mix of florals, textures and geometrics which bring a fresh contemporary look to create in an interior setting. Philippa's skills lie in her graphic design knowledge and her ability to draw from observation to a high standard which she then utilises when creating digital and screen-printed textile designs. She wishes to pursue a career in print/graphic design industries.
