'Identity; a juxtaposition of culture' 'Identity' is a close similarity or affinity that makes a person. 'Identity; a juxtaposition of culture' is a menswear fashion collection that delves into a deeper discovery and exploration of questions of identity within the 21st century. The collection identifies key elements of culture, analysing digital, youth and the diversity of 21st-century culture within Britain that now contributes to creating identity in today's society. The collection consists of a combination of bold and graphic stylistic prints, contrasted by conversational and statement prints reflecting how identity is now being formed within society.
'Identity; a juxtaposition of culture' is a collection of bold prints using a diverse colour palette, displaying an array of figurative and graphic stylistic qualities. A combination of screen print and digital outcomes on a variety of innovative fabrics creates conversational and statement prints, thus forming a vibrant and dynamic menswear collection. Following successful completion of a placement year in varying print design roles, Lia intends to build upon the skills attained throughout her university degree in a menswear design role.
