Holly Mitchell
Holly is a Textiles: Innovation and Design graduate specialising in woven design. Colour exploration has been the main focus of the project allowing it to be expressed through a variety of hand woven, jacquard and printed designs.
The final collection, 'Cala Moli', is a rustic chic range of interior fabrics, designed for high-end interiors. The collection comprises of a harmonious colour palette and a range of woven techniques. Cala Moli was inspired by the colours of coastal sunsets. The art captures flora found along the shore line, embracing the wild landscape and reflecting the desire to connect with the outdoors.
