My practice is a study of the importance of the natural world that surrounds us. Varying between drawing and printmaking, the diversity of shapes and sizes encountered in seeds, begin to emerge through simplified shapes, bright colours, and gestural marks.
Throughout my time at Loughborough University I have acquired different skills such as using Photoshop and experimenting with a variety of mediums, such as photography, painting and ceramics. However, I have ultimately chosen to continue with drawing and printing for my final project. I’m looking forward to gaining experience in order to pursue a career in teaching. This will help to improve my effectiveness and expand my learnings, knowledge and skills as I accumulate experience in the teaching profession.
