Hermione Shackleton Trevor
The visual inspiration behind this collection of multi-media samples originates from pattern, structure and colour found within city architecture. There are also subtle references to mid century design, through colour and material choices. Natural fibres or reclaimed materials such as wool, hessian, bamboo and organic cotton have been selected for this collection to promote the use of materials which are eco-friendly. The collection comprises a mixture of textile and surface design pieces which explore themes of repetition, structure and tactility. These have been created through hand embellishment techniques, digital and screen printing and laser processes.
