'Trailed Florals' is a sophisticated and contemporary collection of hand-woven luxurious fashion fabrics for high-end womenswear of Spring/Summer. Inspired by Kew Gardens Orchid Festival capturing unpredictable forms of florals.
Translating the element of luxury from extensive trend research to create a varied and vibrant collection that explores lightweight fabric with experimental qualities. Incorporating luxury materials such as silk and mercerised cotton to produce rich colour and motion, to create large-scale fringing fabrics along with a complementing series of fabrics that exemplify pattern and unique colour variation, influenced by visual research and exciting artwork to create a unique and innovative collection. Upon graduating I am looking to gain experience in the fashion and textiles industry, to further broaden my skills.
