'Versailles' is a high-end couture fashion collection based upon the beauty of the French palace, while also incorporating elements of French architecture and aesthetics. I have also incorporated florals inspired by the gardens surrounding royal palaces. These feminine prints have characteristics of both Baroque and Rococo design. This collection delivers a highly decorative and ornamental style which evokes a sense of French luxury. Through the combination of silks, satins and embellished fabrics I have produced theatrical and lavish prints inspired by the rich opulence of palace decor and beautiful palace grounds.
I aspire to pursue a career within the fashion industry; perhaps print design for womenswear.
