Ellie Thompson
Using mixed media I explore the depiction of structures and architectural foundations through juxtaposition with false representation. I use basic forms of photographs by experimenting with artificial colour and emphasise lines and shape in a deliberate way that appeals to the senses or emotions through the use of paint and collage.
Using the skills I have acquired during my time on this course (time that I've spent exploring the aesthetics of architectural structures), I hope to enter the industry of interior design. My ability to use digital software alongside traditional, manual techniques has equipped me with the resources I need to either further my studies or find a position in the design sector.
