Floral Reniassance
Ellie Mosley
'Floral Renaissance' The focus of this project is to create a collection of floral prints appropriate for interiors, gathering inspiration from various botanical gardens. In particular, from the National Art Gallery; exploring the distinctive historic still-life paintings from the Renaissance period. The title of this project is Floral Renaissance, renaissance meaning rebirth, which is the motive of this project: recreating similar pieces of art with my own approach and style.
I have a passion for creating fine line detailed drawings and paintings to create prints. I have an appreciation for both the interior and fashion industries and hugely enjoyed the experience gained working within both industries, which allowed me to obtain valuable first-hand knowledge and insight within the design industry.
