Chloe Oliver
Intended for use as installations in public spaces, specifically healthcare environments, 'Peace of Mind' investigates the impact of our natural surroundings on our wellbeing. Inspiration has come from landscape photography and cinematography that shows the interaction between humans, our built environment and how light affects emotion. This collection aims to promote relaxation and to bring colour and texture indoors to people who perhaps don't interact with the world outside as much as they should.
Before commencing her final year at University, Chloe undertook a year in industry, completing a number of placements which gave her a great insight into different areas of the design industry. Through these, she has built a valuable skill set that can be adapted to a variety of roles.Throughout University, Chloe has been a proactive individual, undertaking Secretary of a society, Peer Mentor, Degree Show Representative and Course Representative roles. She also accepted a part-time role working with Student Voice alongside her studies, developing her graphic design and social media skills further.Chloe has taken part in many fundraising activities, the most notable being Loughborough Student's Union's RAG skydive. She is also an avid hiker and has plans to Interrail around Europe and continue learning the German language.Upon graduation, Chloe intends on pursuing, but not limiting herself to, her passion for colour and interiors.
