Amy Bassi

As an innovative creative that loves to solve problems, my portfolio contains a diverse range of visually and conceptually stimulating projects. My design style is specific to each creative challenge and is consistent through my love for design strategies that bring communities together.

Most inspired when developing work that offers creative solutions for issues within society, I am motivated by ethical brands who give back to the world. This is evidenced through work that ranges from creating an exciting co-brand activation for an honest drink and paper company to a service that reduces clothes waste in an innovative way. My breadth of projects have allowed me to explore a wider variety of visual outputs varying from video to illustration to print. My meticulous eye for detail is reflected through project outcomes and reference to my professional approach to research is often praised in design feedback. Gaining design experience through voluntary freelancing has given me an insight into challenges beyond University, teaching me to adapt my academic skills to industry standard. Using brand strategy to help start-up companies bring their concepts to life has given me a great deal of accomplishment. My aspirations for the future lie with gaining experience within a variety of design roles where my capabilities can be creatively challenged as I develop as a designer.
