Lydia Tagg

Lydia is an independent, confident woven textiles creator with a passion for colour, pattern and interesting weaving techniques.

Lydia’s final collection of hand-woven fabrics has been inspired by the geometric lines of modern architecture juxtaposed with the fresh, bright colours of the flowers grown in her own garden. Lydia has created, using mainly natural fibres, a collection of interior fabrics in a variety of weights for a range of outcomes. Upholstery fabrics, soft furnishings, sheer drapery as well as floor coverings have all been explored and developed. Lydia intends to continue within the textiles industry; focusing on setting up her own studio and designing and weaving more fabric collections for interiors.
