Rosie Bright
Rosie is an enthusiastic designer who has a passion for creating new and exciting textures through unconventional and traditional materials.
Coastal Associations ‘Coastal Associations’ is a fashion and accessories collection inspired by visits to Brighton, Weston-super-Mare and Whitstable to observe the juxtaposition between how man-made and natural structures interrelate, to create a unique coastal aesthetic. Both hand and digital processes using soft and heavy materials have been explored to successfully convey the varying textures within a coastal environment. Being aware of current issues with single-use plastic polluting beaches, I wanted to highlight this by incorporating re-purposed plastic bottles in the form of sequins.
